Sorry that I have not been a good blog poster lately. Several things have been taking place over the last several weeks so I will quickly get you up to date. A couple of weeks ago our documents were finally ready to submit to the US Embassy. We were hoping that in the next week we would hear the news that we were cleared to travel. However, to our surprise, we got the news that they wanted to get more info on her and that there were 2 questions that they wanted information on. This was hard news as we were prepared to travel!
Again and again, God keeps reminding us that this is His story and for His Glory. This is so much bigger and so much more than our desire to get her home. We can not even imagine all the ways he is working and all that He is doing. There have been so many twists and turns, so many dissappointments, and so many times that we have had to wait and wait some more for that good news, so many times that nothing about this process makes any sense. That is when one of my favorite lines comes in " when you cant trace His hand, trust His heart" And that is what we must do. Even though this does not make sense, he does and all that we know about Him is good and trustworthy. Therefore, we must wait and entrust her to the one that called us to this and to the one that loves her even more than we do.
We pray that the info that they have collected will be sufficient and hopefully will be resubmitted again tomorrow. We pray for a quickness and that we will be able to see and hold her very soon. We have felt every last prayer and thank everyone who has been praying along with us as the last few weeks have been difficult, especially for this mama.
